Hello all. I have a 2005 duramax lly. I have replaced the upper and lower radiator hose, the little 5/8" 3" hose under the egr and the water pump. I have a new leak. It's not a constant leak and a couple of weeks ago I towed a 27' fifth wheel trailer approx 4 to 5 hours and got 1 low coolant message. Exhaust isn't blowing white. No oil in the reservoir. The top hose doesn't get hard. When I have seen the leak, it seems to come from around the egr area. Any ideas? Is the another hose in that area?

What year is your truck? And I did read you think it's coming from the egr area? That is most likely the problem area then. Ck the egr gasket, hose, that is where I found the leak that was in the general area on my truck.

There are coolant lines in the valley for the turbo. Not sure if that's it or not. Unless it's the egr itself leaking.

I don't see any evidence of the egr leaking. If it was I was just gonna get a delete kit. How much of a pain in the ass is it to access the line or lines in the valley

Under your mouthpiece there is a short 90 degree hose. It leaked on mine a little after I did my HG's. Don't use a straight piece of hose, it would kink on me.
