My family just spent the last two days just north of Chicago with my sister in law for her final moments. She had been battling stage 4 bone cancer for 3 painful years and her body finally gave up. She went there last Sunday for a normal treatment session and some tests but complications soon followed. We all rushed to be at her side. Even with a large family, this is something we've never had to go through. She took her final breath with all of us surrounding her. She even toughed it out so my brother that was 10 hours away in canada could make it there. She died just 15 minutes later. She would have been 40 this march 19th. RIP Lori. You are no longer in pain.

Sorry for your loss, Ed. I lost my sister on Aug 8 2011 and it feels like just yesterday I was standing in her driveway watching them put her in that damn hearse. Cancer is a terrible disease. It's so sad to watch, I can't hardly read these stories.:( Our thoughts and prayers are with with your family. It sucks and there is pretty much nothing that can make it better other than having family and friends for support.

I don't know what to say bud. So sorry and sad to read this tonight. :( Cancer scares the crap outta me and this is why. Seemingly no rhyme or reason to how/when it can show up. I'll add yours and her family to my prayers.
