I'm on my way home from work last night. I merge right in the passing lane( because I'm a good boy who drives the speed limit)and here comes this truck around me. I wasnt even gonna mess with the guy until I saw the first 2' of the front end and saw the big C, HA no way ! So I punched it and gave him some smoke. He accepts and we nose up about 60mph and I let him hit the throttle first and I still passed him NO PROBLEM!! I accelerated until my speedo was buried and I look back and could barely see him. We got into town and nosed up about 30mph and he still couldnt compete, and then we come to a stop light and here we go again. I have a hard time hooking up( I need new tires ) so he got a tiny jump on me but within a few yards he was seeing my tailgate and then at about 70mph I had probably 4 or more truck lenghts on him and gaining. I'm really not trying to sound like I'm bragging but I'm sick of hearing how Duramax sucks hind tit to cummins. I dont have that much done to my truck and I know my day is coming but I've only had one real close race with one of these Goats 5.9 & 6.7 I've whipped them both. How can the magazines say that we are second or even third in some opinions , you have to put alot of money into a power stroke to get them to run with us, half the time if they just have a chip and exhaust we smoke them stock!! I know because its a straight 6 the cummins builds low end faster but over 1000 HP in most cases takes nitrous we can get 1200 HP just on fuel. I want to see a duramax and a cummins of the same class get roughly the same upgrades, air intake,exhaust and tuning and run them on the track and the dyno and hook up a sled and I bet we win.:rofl:
