I'm looking for some gift ideas on what to send my wife for our second anniversary. Can't do most things b/c I'm deployed to Iraq right now, but looking at what I can send her.

I know the obvious thing to send is flowers, I'm thinking of also getting her a 4 foot stuffed monkey thats wearing a Marine uniform.

I'm open to ideas, we haven't spent an Anniversary or Valentines day together since we've been married b/c of the military so I'm looking to go all out, might even have to cut into the truck engine fund

Thanks for the help!
Chris

How about a spa day for her and a girl friend? Nothing better the a day of pampering and I always find it more fun to go with the friend.

Great Idea! She just moved to Washington DC (Caost Guard and had orders) no friends there yet :(

I'll have to try to ask who she likes to hang out with and not give it away :D

Any way you can setup a webcam to maybe " Spend" some time with her?

Have A local place deliver her a nice Dinner that you guys could share over the web.

Also Definitley send Flowers! Or a Locket with your picture so you are with her all the time.

I got one of those 5 foot stuffed bulldogs, from Giant Plush. They advertise in Stars and Stripes. And a spa day would be good too.

OT where are you at over here?

Right now she's in DC and he mom is on the left coast (Oregon). I'm still trying to figure out where to send something to... She's still in the middle of finding a place to rent so she doesn't have an address. She might be signing a lease today though. So we'll see.

I was looking around on the Giant Plush site and they have an 8 foot tall teddy bear with a shirt that says 'I Love You This Much'. I crack myself up everytime I try to think of her trying to stuff an 8 ft 45lb teddy bear in her car, lol.

I'm at Camp Korean Village, where are you at BB88?

Man for real giant plush is the best idea out there. That bulldog earned me some points, I think I may order somethin else from them aswell, and I was rollin on the floor laughin when I saw her try and carry it one night while I was home on leave. That was by far the best 120 bucks I have ever spent. Our anniversery is comein up in Aug so I need to do somethin.

I am at USMI-C the old greenzone, baghdad.

As long as it's a gift it's fine. One of my BF's got me once one of those gift baskets and something like that is always good. It's like getting more than one gift. We like that! :)

There's a site called: http://www.personalizationmall.com/
They have some neat stuff that you can personalize with names and dates and so on - my wife loves stuff from there!
If you have any fun or good pictures you can goto sites like walmart.com and get calendars and cups and all kinds of different things.
Christmas I gave my wife a blanket full of our pictures from: http://www.personalthrows.com
Although I decided to make the layout myself in photoshop and the put the pictures how I wanted them it turned out GREAT - it was a real tear jerker.
If you decide you want something like that, and need a bit of help on layout and things, let me know :hello:
