I need a Alternator that will bolt up to the stock location but is not as deep? Basically I'm looking for a more condensed alternator that will utilize all the stock mounts and hookups. Anyone have any crosses?

All the ones I've seen are the same casing.....even my 250amp one.

Might try and contact an alt reman place and see what they have to say. Mean Green, DB Electrical are 2 that come to mind.

You having piping issues?

No I can't do that. It will work where it is but it is tight real tight. A slightly smaller alternator would b the bees knees. I figured someone would know of one from another vehicle that would work.

Yes and no. I can make it work if I trim the plastic cover a smudge. Its just a lil closer than I like. I have a 4 in. Vband clamp for a connector there so it is real close if I cut off the flange and used a rubber boot it would b fine but I want a more solid connection with 60 psi of boost

Which one do you have now? The 105 amp or 145 amp unit? I know alot of the newer trucks came with the larger AD244 at 130 or 145 amps whereas earlier trucks had the 105 amp AD230. You could probably run a small NIPPENDENSO of a TOYOTA, but not sure which one would drop in. Try giving these guys a call and tell em what you got.
