Went back to the track tonight and almost reached my goal. Leaving at 8.5psi of boost.
1.7449 60ft
5.1816 330ft
8.07 @84.68 mph
Tried to sneak into the 7's but highest I could leave with was 8.5psi of boost to keep tire spin under control as I need some front shocks to keep it planted. Taking out the brake torque management made it so I could leave at higher boost 10-12 psi put the truck wouldn't stick. Front end comes way up which I knew it would but didn't want to change anything yet. Weight reductions was spare and tailgate. Left the car seat, some tools behind the back seat and most important my 1 Liter of diet dew inside with me. Raced a 87 Iroc and he came over to me in the pits to talk about my truck and when he seen the car seat still straped in he said he could handle getting beat but having a car seat still inside was not right!:D I have to thank Rob Coddens/IdahoRob for telling me to let it rev further in 4th as that did the trick. Picked up e.t. and a little mph. Thanks for the awsome tune I use daily and race with:hug: Need to thank George again as with his help on my tranny to make sure everything was right it still clicks shifts off awsome. Now for some front shocks!

What RPM are you leaving at? I wonder if you played with your boost tables to get more boost at a lower RPM if you could get a better 60' time.

Congrats on the time. That's cookin'.

Good going, Steve!

Car owners do not like being beat by a pickup.

Thanks for the congrats guys! Josh I'm leaving at 2023 rpms when I let it lose at 8.5#'s of boost. One pass I left at 2200 rpms and 10#'s of boost and it spun to much and the 60ft suffered. My front end comes up way to far. If I keep it at 8#'s or lower it still comes up but it dosen't sprin nearly as bad. Converter is tight and it's hard for me to build anymore boost than that without it pushing through the brakes. Traction at the track is good. I get the head shake when it brakes loose from the front end lifting up. I needed a video camera to see it better rather than my nephews cell phone. For being my work truck that gets used daily I'm very happy with my results. I know the truck has a 7 second 1/8th mile pass in it but I need to take it to the 1/4 mile as my strongest pulling gears are 4th and 5th.
