However they will keep going for another 100,000+ miles! Right now I'm installing my new transmission that Top Notch Garage done for me. Can't wait to get it in and see what its like to actually get power to the ground!

oh wow I thought you were joking when you said bullet proof. There has to be a really funny story involving illegal beer drinking in a vehicle. Im surprised it just pinged off the torque converter and didn't leave a bigger dent.

There actually wasn't any beer drinking, just a really lucky deer one night lol the bullet didn't really dent the converter I'm actually surprised myself, it did cost me the little tin inspection plate at the bottom of the transmission though. And possibly some hearing loss....

Well thats actually kind of comforting. My pistol is usually in a spot to where if in a freak accident it goes off it would hit the torque converter. It's only a .380 so it should be good. Just keep driving like nothing happened. :thumb:

When that happened I just stopped the truck waited a bit backed up seen there wasn't any fluid on the road then drove home. I tried to call the idiot that worked on my trigger at least a dozen times and he would never answer...

Can't imagine why  That guy better get out of the business before a mod he does kills someone by proxy.

Seriously though, that is crazy. I'm impressed that the TC took the damage that well. And I'm glad the gun was pointed somewhere safe when it malfunctioned.

I hope he is already out of business! Before this had happened I had been trying to get parts to my gun back and he wouldn't ever mail them to me. I'm very glad it was pointed where it was and that I was by myself!
