Neither. It's a rule that transmissions have to have a scatter shield faster than x.xx

This is more for the Race trucks than pullers I don't see this being an issue on the street but certainly not a "necessity" for a DD… but hey, when it comes to your safety it's all on you….

I leave mine on all the time. Found that the trans runs a little warmer on hot days but nothing to be concerned about. They can be a real pain to take on and off.

it is a nice blanket. . I ran a allseason blanket and it covers the complete trans and bh .....retaing a lot of heat!

X2, it won't pass tech here, bell housing is not covered.

These can be made to comply with ANY/ALL 2013 nhrda rules/regs. All of which have already been through SFI 4.1 Certification. Tech inspection will not be an issue
