Installed the Alligator Diesel LB7 Turbo Intake Horn tonight after work. With the right 1/4" universals and extensions, it was a breeze. Didn't have to remove anything but the intake pipe coming from the airbox. Took about 30 minutes. Could be a bear without the right tools.
Inside diameter at the mating surface at the turbo on the stock horn was 61mm. New horn from Alligator was 72mm, so the inside diameter is noticeably larger. Turbo does seem to spool a bit quicker, which is nice at 4400ft elevation and you can hear the whistle in the cab more, not major increase in sound but you can hear it. I've heard they are good for 10-12hp, but I wasn't able to get before/after dyno numbers.
