Are allison dealer installed remans built to factory specs?

The reason I ask is Im about to order for my build and I thought to build my parents trans with 240K miles and put my allison reman with 19k miles in their truck. Whats concerning is there trans feels tight, shifts better than mine, so Im not sure thats a good idea anymore.

Is that the reman from allison in the valley? Just curious because i always see ads for them on CL.

I just bought the truck from the original owner. He told me the dealership installed the trans, and looking at the carfax it was not a local dealership. Not sure of how you tell who's reman it is.

My truck has been tuned for 400 miles so far, and Ive been easy on it because I was thinking of doing the swap. It does not seem worth it though given how the two feel. I just wanted some opinions
