just parked the truck, havent tore into it. but everything is 4th gear. RNDM1, all forward 4th gear. P0757 P0762. 360k miles on it, hot EFI tune, and dually brake stand did it in. was a matter of time. :woott:

C1's were welded together. the entire pack came out TOGETHER besides one friction and one steel.

I tore one of my cores apart and used the C1/C2 drum. all stock clutches, extra C3 fricton and steel, C3 cooler mods, transgo shift kit, shimmed the pressure reg, and threw a transgo lockup valve in.

Mike I ment to call you, but I didnt want to bother you on a sat. and I needed the truck back together for that night. threw parts that I had in it. so far its been fine even with more fuel. wonder how many miles i get outa this setup...:thumb:

Well youve gone and done it now ollie. Hope you spaced up the washer on the planet to raise the ring gear for C3. C3 pressure plate must be machined to accept the extra clutch or it will be applied all the time. Should have called me.

I really didnt want to ruin ur weekend with allison talk lol. I took the pressure plate down and yes, made a spacer to keep the ring gear in the C3's. I may be a DIY but I know how things work .
