Trying to log some data on my 5 speed and can't get anything to come up. Just shows this when I click record or pause. ECM shows data but tcm won't

do you have anything connected to the purple obd11 wire like a remote start or aftermarket radio?
Nope. I can read data from the ECM just fine. Just not the tcm. It hooks in without issue and if you hit the pause button then tap the stop button, you get readings like its working but it won't log on the graph or on the pid screen

no, anytime you hit the pause or record button, it wont show data, just what is in the picture. as soon as you hit stop, i get like a screen shot of data for a split second in that same area i took the picture in but nothing shows up in the graphs.
ive tried checking the pins at the TCM (all good), tried all different ways of hooking up the v2 and getting the scan tool to connect which made no difference, validating parameters many times and validating modules (no difference).
Now i dont think i have the very newest update but its not more than 1-2 months old cause i had to update when i put the LLY tune in from Steve. that my only other thought
