i found a good deal on an aurora 5000, my main concern is boost pressure and not being studded. what kind of boost will i see with a single cp3. any thoughts or info??

5,000ish and a decent race tune? im not sure what kind of power its putting out. i know that with my bd @ 35psi im still smoking pretty hard

5K alt? It depends on the tune. A good 500rwhp (on a stocker) race tune will be making about 45-50 psi. About 35+ on a 150-200hp extra tune. When most folks need studs, they need rods too.

If your at 5K ft elevation you will probably only get about 45psi max on a BIG tune (spikes in 5th).
mine @ sea level makes 40-43 psi with my big tune but i haven't dared push the timing past 27* with the stock lower end
what pulse width are you running ? pm me if you'd like i went 12.41 @ 110 @ 6800 lbs w 285's with 27 * and 2860 uS
I run 3300 PW at 36* timing went 12.32 @ 108.8 with dyno tuning I'm sure I'm going to be able to drop atleast .1 at my current 6860 weight
FYI I have the HTT and boost a max of 45psi and blew out my headgaskets but I think that there were more contributing factors than just the boost. My heads have been cut and i had one new part number gasket and one old number gasket and it was the old part number gasket that blew.
