I'm about to install a AirDog DF-165 in my 2016 GMC 2500 crew cab standard bed. With the 36 gallon tank there's not a lot of real estate on the frame, however there is the bracket for the fuel cooler.
Does anyone have any pictures, ideas, comments, or suggestions on a good place to mount the AirDog?

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Thorough bred diesel has a YouTube video of installing the air dog on a lml. But to answer your question it mounts on the bracket for the fuel cooler.

Where the fuel cooler would be on all other models, that is by far the best and probably only option given the hose length you have to work with.

I installed mine where the factory fuel cooler would be. It's hidden from sight but still easily accessible to install/change filters.

As mentioned above, I slapped mine on the old fuel cooler mount.

Been awhile since we've seen you poking around? How's it going?

Just a question for those that have them on the newer trucks are they tuned or is there another reason to install a lift pump on a stock truck I'm unaware of?
Just curious. New to the lml and haven't had much to do with them other than past company owned work truck use.

Help keep the cp4 alive was my main reason. Little extra filtration and not relying on cp4 to pull fuel, not saying that's the fix just can't hurt.

Gotcha. Kinda like adding the lift pump to the 24v Cummins years ago. Might have to look into getting another KD or FASS.

I, well MikeL (thanks Mike ) ended up installing the DF-165 4G on the fuel cooler mount. It was a perfect spot, tucked up high enough you can't see it unless you get under the truck, filters nice and safe from road debris.
