Mike here from Nashville, NC (the original Nashville, way smaller with no music). I have a 2011 GMC 2500 Denali. NCB diesel tuner, and delete kit. Daily driver with 140k miles. Love the truck and hoping to learn some performance tricks and suggestions here. Looking at lift pumps right now, and was wondering what the difference between Fass and Air Dog is in real life applications. Thanks

Welcome.

The older FASS were really loud, supposedly the newer ones are quiet.

The Airdog 2 I put on the old mans LMM is whisper quiet.

BD Flowmax on my truck is going on 4+ years and is barely audible with the engine off key on.

I wouldnt trust an Airdog or Fass even if I got one for free. They're just too unreliable for my taste, warranty or not.

Moved to Fuel Pump section, BTW.

I have had one for BBT for about a year, still havent installed it.

For the price and design I couldn't beat it I felt. That and countless hours of research that ended up with absolutely no negative reviews and my kind was made up. Very well built. The harness is crazy simple to install. I love mine

I have 70K and 3.5 years on my
Airdogg II 165 adjustable and I just keep my low fuel line wet and run it and haven't had any issue with it at all. I made my own mount for it because I don't like seeing filters poking out the bottom of a bedside. The kit was easy, to install and the wire loom wasn't bad to run. They give you extra everything.

But they were family at one point and then fell out and started Airdogg so they will share subtle similarities.
