Hey guys, not sure if this is right spot for this but my AD 165 just packed her in.
Just tryin to decide whether to replace it with another 165 or jump up to a bigger frame to allow room to grow. Truck is mostly just DD.

I'm running a Fuelab unit I really like, just don't use their install kit. It's a brushless wet motor design and I think it's the way to go for the future.

I have a fass on my 2015 and it's allot noisier than the AD are they just a more reliable pump or what makes them better?

I wonder how easy it would be to switch from AD to fuelab pump. Are the inlet, discharge and return in similar location?

I've had my AD 150 for prob 3 yrs and she's never skipped a beat. And for the last 6 months it's supporting 600 hp with 45% injectors and a modded lbz pump

I live in northern British Columbia, the fuel quality is sketchy at best and I'm sure it was at least a contributing factor if not the entire cause of the failure. But thanks for the replies think I will just get another 165 to replace it.

I made 987hp with a single AD165 with the factory draw straw. Don't let everyone fool you, fass fail too.

Not nearly as often as someone who sells them I have had 1 fass fail out of at least 100 pumps Over the 7 years I sold probably 10 airdogs and 9 failed within a year. So preference is fass for me. Mine orginal fass was on my truck for 7 years and now is on another truck still going as I went to 220gph

My fass has always been quiet. Standard fass 150, stock pickup, stock fuel filter and housing. Supplied a legitimate 820whp no problem. And now with some 120% sticks, it is still going strong.
