AirDog 160 vs. Nicktane Auxiliary Filter

So I am going to delete my factory fuel filter due to my turbo setup. Right now it is kind of half-ass mounted on a bracket I fabricated, and hangs behind the front bumper. Temporary, and not a permanent fix. Currently I have the Kennedy lift pump. Would I be better off buying the auxilary fuel filter kit from Nicktane and installing it on the frame rail. Or would it be easier to just ditch the Kennedy and go with an Air Dog 160?

Also, when I plumb the fuel lines in a loop after the factory filter delete, I have noticed the lines want to kink. I have several spools of the plastic coil that they use for binding papers/reports at my shop. Would there be any harm of inserting this into the fuel line to prevent kinking? I do not want the fuel to corrode this somehow and have contaminants in my fuel, as this location would be post-filter.

IMO, keep the kennedy pumps, and run an aux fuel filter setup. Nicktane setups are exspensive for what they are, and I would just buy a universal filter head that has 1"-14 threads and run a Cat filter, mounted on the frame.
