air to air.. intercooler

my aluminum turbo duct exploded on the drivers side what years are they the same mines an 03 but i found one at a junk yard and when i went to get it i noticed the diameter was alot smaller on that one so i was wondering wats different bout em, also that guy said they is the same from 01 to 05 is this right? please help

That is incorrect. The LB7 had a 90* 2.5" boot off the turbo. That hooked to the metal tube which then flared to 3" for the rest of the way to the intercooler. With the boots they are interchangeable but I wouldn't want to downgrade to 2.5" tubing from an 04.5+ truck.
