I was just wondering what size the intercooler inlet and outlet hoses are.

I'm looking to go with an air to liquid system and am just specing out the kit I need but need to know what size our hoses are.

I'm not near my truck right now so I could use a little help.

Thanks in advance

Dale

Im no expert Dale but in my searching I couldnt find a 3" In or out that would flow enough air. They probably are out there somewhere. But perhaps having enough air with a 3" in 3" out might make the unit alot (larger)Thats the reason I went with the 4" in 4'" out Barrel - It flows up to 1530cfm which is good for 1200hp+ - I think the gt42 pumps about 1330 cfm

actually I have been looking as well Mick and it's all your fault!! Thanks though!!

I found a 3.5" kit from Frozenboost that will flow over 1500cfm.

I like your setup better, but I don't sleep on a matrees filled with money!! That kit you have is like 2G's here!!!

I can get into one for about 600 I believe. We are limited by the Y-Bridge and inlet anyhow so I think 3.5" will be ok.

Anymore test results to share?

Thats a hell of a good price on the FB one Dale. Id really check the quality out at that price. being in the Fabricating Welding Industry, I know what it takes to make things and I think the PWR is good value for money at app $2500 AUST. Quality is No 1. I guess you would mount that one same as mine but laying on its back with the inlets facing up. Im not keen on the way the air goes in then hits the end before doing 2 x 90 deg turns before going on its way (But thats only my thinking) Id like to see you try it Dale. Im sure you will be impressed. Nothing more to report yet, just may have to change my thermostats, engine may be running too cool now. I guess the factory allowed for all the restrictions imposed by the CAC when calculating thermostats. Now without the CAC engine wants to run too cool (not always good as you know cold steel on cold steel wears quicker)

Ya I know Mick. It will get a pressure test before it goes in!!
I like the straight through design more but too much $$$$!!

They say the drop is not much more than the straight through so will have to see if/when I get it! I'm trying to talk Simon into putting it in the 01!!

What is the radiator you got though? It's half of the size of the FB! I see it's a PWR but what model? I couldn't find it on the website.

Is yours more efficient than the one I'm looking at?

This one has 2 fans and they say it's good for 1200hp also.
