Anyone have or used one? I never even heard of one 'til I was looking for a grease gun on Ebay and ran across them. Some of them can either be operated by an air hose or still be manually operated. Kicker is, they are about inline with manual hand pump grease guns, as far as cost goes. At least the ones I've been seeing on Ebay are. Whatcha think?? Good? bad?

I've used battery powered ones, they save your forearm or tricep if you have large voids to fill. The issue for me is finding the grease type you want in a canister that fits within the body of the battery powered gun.

Generally it needs to be shaped like a tube of caulking for best results, ease of parts, battery replacement, servicability.

See HILTI.COM and/or RIDGID (RIGID?) Tools, not sure of RIDGID addy.

Good luck!

EDIT: I try and avoid extra tools/air lines/splitters to connect/disconnect from air, just me though.

I use to have one that was battery operated, that took a full size tube. It was one of those items that "grew legs and walked away" on a jobsite. I loved it, only reason why I did not buy another was I just don't use a grease gun as much as I use too.

Yes, I have used the battery operated grease guns and they are nice but i don't do near enough greasing to warrant the necessity of having one.

These air powered ones that can also be hand operated just seems handy as a dickens though and no job too little or big for it. Am I cornfused or what? Almost seems too good to be true, and we all know how that goes...

Ours will shoot 50 to 60 feet. If your greasing equipment (dozers and trachoes and such) they are the only way to go. They blast out crud that is stuck in the joint. I like em. I like the battery ones as well. I dont like the hand operated ones.

we use them at work to mainly tighten tracks on loaders and dozers, i wouldnt even want to think about greasing one with a hand one.

funny you post 50-60ft because i shot one of my buddies from across the shop today on accident and he was about 50ft away....haha
