LLY: Air leak in the intercooler?

This past weekend I finally got some new tunes after my 3 inch y bridge and 3 inch passenger side pipe done. All tables changed in the tuning process were desired boost levels and vane positioning. Turbo wise I am running a billet 68 cheetah. I blew the drivers side pipe at 50 psi of boost, therefore I check out all intercooler boots and put it back on using hairspray also. All boots are in great condition. I am not getting a hissing air leak which sounds like it is coming from the front drivers side of the motor. I have searched it up and down looking for an up pipe leak and I even went as far as taking the Y bridge out to check out the O rings in it. Has anyone had a factory LLY intercooler blow apart or start leaking on them? I am picking up some PVC caps tonight to pressure test the Intercooler. The next thing Im guessing to check is the Up pipe gaskets?:confused:

Any help would be appreciated as I need the truck this weekend to pull a tractor home. I already ordered PPE boots and a 3 inch drivers pipe also. Thanks!

The oem intercoolers are not very strong. I'd pressure test to make sure it is the intercooler.

Side note...

Make a way for the PVC end caps to not blow off. Sand a grove in them or something.

Would you happen to know what PSI they tend to bust at? I will be pressure testing it here in about 5 hours and posting results. also where is the cheapest place to get an Aftermarket one?

I always thought they hold up to around 50 psi give or take. I'd imagine any of the vendors on this site can hook you up quick.
