:mad:Hey guys, this weekend i noticed after firing the truck up after stopping for fuel that the pump wasnt running, then i heard a buzzing noise under the hood so i popped it and the relay that controls the pump was buzzing like it couldnt pick up. i didnt know if anyone had a generic PN for this relay or not. i am waiting to hear back from airdog but wanted to try something else.

when the truck is cold the relay picks up but after warm no such luck, even moved the mounting location to a cooler spot and still didnt work. i noticed that after a few minutes of driving the pump relay is buzzing again and the pump is stopped. Thanks in advance.

bump, I need one of these too. I recently installed an airdog on a customers truck and the relay that came with the kit was DOA.

To get the customer on the road I just gave him the relay out of my truck, but now I need a new relay for my truck...where can you get them?

I'm convinced the better route for a lift pump is Fuel Labs 2 models from Madmatt he has the kits for small to hi output needs and it's not missing parts or losing relays like the mentioned here. My kit came missing stuff from that outfit and took long time to get a deal figured out to put in and go. Got those parts 2 weeks later though. Just one example for us and the next one will be Fuel lab for the space savings and layout.

My buddies 24 valve had the same problem with his AD. We ended up taking a relay out of his fuse block and putting it in there to get us home.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I would think any automotive relay that meets the specs of the OE relay would work (see pic above). All the relay is doing is supplying the proper voltage and current (amperage) to the lift pump.

What I said earlier. We jacked, I believe, the high beams relay out of the fuse panel and it got us home. I'm sure the Air Dog one is a little different though (amperage handling)

I'm sure AirDog will supply you with the parts since they have one of the best warranties out there.

x2. If you have one that is no good just give them a call they'll send one right out to ya.
