I have an 03 duramax with about 154,000mi. I just did my injectors about a week or two ago, added the cat filter adapter from Lincoln Diesel. today we were out eating lunch and doing some shopping and at our final stop the truck sat for maybe an hour. We go to leave and it just turns over like its not getting fuel. My wife askes if we should call for a jump start.... I get under the hood and push the primer some and it starts. I get home let it sit for a bit again and i push the primer a dozen or so times and i hear air and see fuel leaking, then see bubbles coming from just under the primer button, just under the plate thats held on by some torx bits. Is this just as easy as a rebuild kit(o-rings) or am I in for a new filter head?

I just did mine last week and it's an easy fix. The kit is only $26 at Orielly auto parts. There are 2 lipped seals on the push button, and some O-rings inside the head. Get some brake cleaner to clean everything and add a few drops of oil to lube the seals and O-rings. Easy job.
