air bag suspention

Anyone run air bags? I run a stock height 05, I sled pull and want don't really want a lift kit or leveling kit but I'd like a couple more inches. Was thinking bags and new Rancho shocks...

Better check if your sled pulling org allows bags. Most don't around here.

Rules here allow bags but the air line from the compressor hs to be removed before tech and needs to remain that way until after the pull

I pull with them and they do hop if u don't run like 100psi in them. Honestly I dont like them and are gonna be coming off.

Air bags will help keep your truck level when it's loaded up but if your using them to give it a lift when unloaded it's going to ride like a tractor.

I run stock/workstock also and run bags in the rear with no bounce but I run the bags hard. They gave me the rake i wanted and I run them every place I can. With that being said there is some places that do not allow bags so make sure they are allowed before you put them in.

6" lift in mine with the bags empty and I had no hop when I pulled. All about suspension set-up and proper bracing and steering re-enforcement that will help eliminate hop.
