Ahhh Fresh Fuel Filter

Well I changed the Fuel filter today and spent a little time taking it apart... I think I could have gone another 10K on this one. :spit:

Well you got that fass takin most of the crud. how many miles were on that one you jsut changed?

I dont have any filters on my FASS and im not sure on the mileage

Yeah that filter has been in since May.

Excuse the ignorance, but how long should we go between changes? I've only added about 4K to my 05 LLY since I bought it and it was starting to act sluggish when cold. Talked to the previous owner and he suggested a new filter. It seemed better afterward, but I'd still like some mileage guidelines for replacement.

The general consensus is to change the fuel filter at 10k.

I change my fuel, tranny spin-on and oil every 5k.

Man your lucky. My freakin fuel filter gets clogged all the time and is always freakin dirty. I mean I had to change it twice in one month.
