Was just thinking... I know everyone goes with grade C GM oem gaskets usually.... are there any companies out there that make headgaskets that are better than the stockers? Stronger material or something?

DPR Package price includes Gas-lock Sealing Rings, modified head gaskets, Decking and squaring of the block deck surface, resurfacing of the cylinder heads.

Got a GM part # for them?:D

they use a grade A gm gasket which is modded to fit the garlock ring which needs to have a retaining groove in the block for the ring.

The Cometics were a huge failure 2 years ago.

We tried them as a stand alone gasket, and with the Phuzion system, which is the Garlock ring meant to be compressed between the head and the block without any groove machining.

Since then we have tried the Garlock rings and stock gaskets with grooves in the block with varying degrees of success.

Copper gaskets with stainless rings embedded are also under going testing.

The problem is sealing up both boost and water at the same time.

From what I understood from talking to Buck they do a raised ring on the block and a bigger groove in the head. He said they tried it the other way around without as much success. But that's if I understood him right.
