Anyone know of a place in Texas (ft worth/Dallas area if possible) that can build a driveshaft for a lly ccsb? I don't want to go to steel from what I've read, so I would like to keep it aluminum. If there is nothing in Texas somewhere close would help.

This is my buddy's mud truck. They built and balanced the shafts and he hasn't had a problem. I built my own with material from them, but my mud truck isn't that important since I go 20mph max

I went with one from adm, it's 6 inch aluminum.

Those stronger then a steel shaft? Ima need a new shaft in the puller soon. I should take pics of how many dents, cuts, and deformed cap holes but its never broke. Broke everything else in the driveline, but deff need to look into a new one this off season

How many ppl break the stock steel shaft out of a Ecsb? Might even be the same as the rclb... I haven't ever broke it and the ears are all messed up from breaking yokes. It's got dents in it. Has a huge ring worn in it from rubbing the driveshaft hoops hard. I wouldn't even put it back in a mini van looking at it. But that's the one thing basically I've never broke

I twisted the metal shaft in a reg cab puller. Fort Wayne clutch built me a new one with bigger steel shaft. Was a nice piece. Worked great.

Hmm I better fab up my drive shaft hoops in the mean time. What about front shafts? Are you guys having bigger better ones made too?

I run a stock front shaft with good Spicer solid joints. I pulled the last 2 years in the 650hp range with a Elocker and 35" tires and never had a problem.
