Aftermarket balancer or stocker

Iv searched and cant find a definative answer im currently building my motor with billet H beam rods, 20 over mahle pistons, stage 2 heads etc and want to know should i go an ATI balancer or keep the stocker ill be looking for around 800hp with a big single turbo threw my built allison any input would be great :D

thanks keep the input comin guys is there a reason do the stockers come appart or something?

Aftermarket has better tolerances, if your going to spend the money on a build better do it right or you may be doing it again. If you have a engine that is running get the dampner and install it on a running engine. You have to get it to around 2,000 rpm to "set" it. The machinist may have issues balancing if not done. I am no pro maybe someone will chime in.

It would be better to use the ATI. Stock would work just not do as good of a job or hold up as well. Do it right the first time.

x2 plus a good balancer is a drop in the bucket compared to the price of everything else in a build. my vote goes to ati as well
