Left the local 40+ parking lot show last weekend… Ended up next to a Sweet, mean sounding, 56 Chevy. He revved a couple times at the stop light which prompted me to spool. Seems I beat him pretty good from the light up to about 55mph, was in a 45 zone, when I let off. He lets off knowing the race is over. He dropped back about 2 car lengths then floors it past me like I'm supposed to catch him. Anyway, at the next light, guess he thought he could maybe impress me by doing a burn out. Well, I can do that too, except I can spin all four tires in back. The tires fried, smoke everywhere and then barked turbo when I let off. Maybe bad for the turbo, sure does sound nice though, at least that is what he commented on, “sounds like you got lots of boost.”
His following comment, "guess you might have a few more HP than I." was nice. My reply, "Sure do, but your ride is a bit nicer.”
