2014 lml deleted without 165 lift pump, cool air efi Autocal kory willis tune. Everything else in place just unplugged. So my problem is vane position. So like if I'm going up a hill my cts will show 0% with hardly any boost and a trial of thick black smoke from the top. If I'm working the peddle instead of cruise control. I have to let off the right peddle, then get back into it with good vane position. Then sometimes just 0%. with no boost. Fuel filters good , map sensor just inspected and cleaned. No boost leaks. Had it dyno and looked at by kory he says it's good. He also updated my tuner but just made it worse i emailed him he said bring it to a mech. Mech says it's the tune. Man I'm lost . The only code it'll throw is a over boost. And it just started doing this. Any thoughts would be helpful. Also pulled and cleaned the sensor.

It says without lift pump? Start with a lift pump. You only have so much control over the vanes on these models. It should not smoke like a train for certain. You really need a lift pump. After that you will be able to figure out what's going on. It most likely a combination of lift pump, tune and just unplugging the emissions items.

Sorry. I have a 165 lift pump on it. I'm running the street setting. I've had it on just about every setting. Still does it. Man I'm lost. Thinking about switching to the moonshine tunes just to see. I have a cp3 sitting in a box I wanna do. But I gotta get this figured out first. Thanks for the replies.

Have we sent you a updated tune for this?

I was at your shop about a month ago. For dyno tunning. You updated then. It did fine. But in real world I'm still having issues.

Does it start acting up after it throws the over boost code?

Seems like I remember reading somewhere lml trucks don't like over boost conditions for stained periods of time. There fore causing a limp mode..

Sounds like your issue..
