Wanting to take off my fender flares... but i have those nasty deep worn down lines underneath them that go through the paint all the way to the metal...
Anyone know if theres a do-it-yourself way to fill in those grooves and get the paint to look right... (I don't want to drop the cash on getting the whole quarter panels redone at a shop)

The only way your will remove those is doing right like a respectable shop. About how wide is this warn area that the flare was rubbing?

Filling those groves is gona be a pita but it can be done then blown in but it also depends on colour,A blow in is a bandaid imho,Sorry I should have mensioned im an automotive painter at a buisey collision shop, your best bet is to do a touch up until you have the paper to do it right.

Ya,they move around alought more than oner would think, just touch up to protect bare metal,If you find someone real good it can be fixed and kept small.:thumb:
