advice on machining

Was told at the machine shop my motor needs to be line bored due to a bad main cap. The machine shop said they do not have large enough equipment to line bore a duramax block. What machine shops within a reasonable distance from central kentucky would be a good place to get a line bore done.

Competition Automotive Machine in Brandenburg KY did all machine work, including line bore. They have all the necessary equipment to do whatever you want to do to your engine. Good bunch of guys too! 270-547-3278.

Thanks I gave them a call they are reasonably priced and very knowledgeable but they were booked up and couldn't get all 4 blocks done in the time frame we needed them. Ended up going with a machine shop out of Indianapolis.

Lol a good friend of mine owns a diesel performance shop and he had a few blocks plus mine that all needed the mains line bored/line honed and we're needing a quick turn around time on them trucks are starting to back up lol

Yea danville is who recommended them. They said they'd have all the blocks done by the beginning of next week. Seem to be great people and very knowledgeable
