My stock allison started slipping in second gear only. Mt truck is a 2001 4x4 ex. cab. For 1k bucks I can buy a used allison with 30 day warranty. Or for nearly 5k bucks a stage V suncoast. Will the suncoast add value to the truck? And will it hold any tuner power level with no problem?

x2I would just get trans rebuilt and invest the 1k into it:thumb: 1k plus install will get you no where if you want to play, do it right the first time around and save $$ JMHO
You don't have to buy a Suncoast V. If you have a builder around you, you can have them put in a SC III or SC IV kit in your existing trans. They will hold any tuner you throw at them.
