AD and CAT fuel filters

I'm need to order some fuel filters soon and was going to get the CAT filter adapter as well. Wondering if the guys running the CAT 2micron filter still use a 2micron filter on there lift pump or go to the 10micron? Thanks

I'm running a 2 micron pureflow on my pump and a 2 micron CAT in stock location. I figured i shoudn't have to change the CAT filter for quite awhile and I dont want to have any more injector issues...

Yes. You have to trim the mount a little bit from what I've heard.

i believe that its a direct fit for all their pumps. also the 1r-0750 works, i think its just a shorter filter

1r-0750 is the shorter version of the 1r-0749

Curious. After deleting the factory filter head for fuel, Does ur truck throw a code? The WIF has a sensor or electrical plug attached. What Do u do extend it or eliminate it?
Saw on ebay that the 2 microcron cat filter assembly comes with a spacer for the factory fuel setup, but with no WIF on bottom.

Removing the WIF will not set any DTC's. Just unplug it and you're done
