Alright, so what happened was...

I had some 285s on my 05 when my ABS light came on. Come to find out that the tire had rubbed through the sensor on the front driver side. I purchased a ABS wheel speed sensor from Rock Auto, thinking itd fix it. I went down to 265s and got the sensor replaced. Code cleared, soon as I went to leave, it came back on. I figured it was the wrong one... in the meantime, sometimes I would turn on my truck, and the code would be gone, drive and comes back on.
Sometimes would disappear for no reason then come back on.

So in a not so much better attempt to fix it, I went to AutoZone (bad decision) to get the correct one. I bought another sensor. This one looked correct as the one from Rock Auto had been just a couple Cm shorter than the original with the mounting points in the wrong place. The one from AutoZone was as long as the original, and correct mounting points. I checked my harmonizer ring that the sensor reads, no gouges in it or bent teeth. Put it in, code is still there, same as before, wont clear. At this point, the light is REALLY getting to me. What do. DDF? Dont say take the light out... Im trying to maintain my truck. Plz. Halp. Thanks everyone.

I would also go with Timken. My wife's Yukon had a similar issue and I replaced just the sensor also and it didn't last. I then bought OEM AC Delco complete hub and sensor with Timken bearing and it has been good for over a year....

Not saying that it will definitely be your issue as well.

Timkin is what the factory bearings are. Dmax stores are ok. We have a store here compared to a napa call TPX (tech parts) and they carry acdelco and fomo factory parts at way better prices than the dealer.

So about 3 years later for a response...
Replaced the hub from the DMAXSTORE.
Dont have the truck anymore, but that fixed it.
