I'm curious to know if a faulty 1056sc torque convertor on a six speed cause a po777? Tranny is built with a stage four suncoast. It's on a Chevy lmm. The truck has a programmer, I believe it's a ppe on level 4 or 5. Tia for any help.

From what I have read from Mike L.. I could be the transfer case or speed senor...

Correct.

P0777 indicates an off going clutch did not get released fast enough before the on coming clutch applied. ( tie-up ) It's important to know on which shift this code was thrown. If it was 3/4 it can rip the spline off C2 hub and P2 planet. Get it fixed before you hammer on it any more.

Thanks Mike. My friend was getting on to the highway and he punched it. After punching he said it was fine until about 70 or 80mph then it limped and threw the code. He did mention that it felt like the torque convertor was taking longer than the usual to lock up. Reason I asked about the convertor. He had some local shop build it about a year ago.

I just got this code tonight as well. Same situation, rolling into it on an on-ramp. First time the truck was WOT after sitting for 6 months.
How do you know which sensor needs replaced? TechII?
