Ive wondered how the LED headlight bulbs are working, both in quality and longevity.

Removed the DRL bulbs about 6 months after I purchased the truck. If you do replace them the glass base type are the preferred bulbs to use as they cool a bit better and from what I read they do not melt the sockets, won't matter for me though...:D

I'm running 5k hid kit, 5k led fogs and led switchbacks. Interior lights are all led as well. Everything is from diode dynamics. $150 for their hid kit but amazing quality, I ran a few eBay hid kits and they were all junk.

Anybody know what led fog light bulb will match the 16's factory headlight hids? I cant stand to have the old school yellow with the white on the hid.

Ya I'm running the h11 kit. Haven't done anything with my high beams

They say 4300k is usually factory. My 5k fogs are a pure white

I just ordered the morimoto xb leds, the 16 denali has 5k white headlights now. Bought time, my 04 denali quadrasteer had better lighting than my 15...

15 had halogen, 16 has hids, best to just get led headlights. The early 15's have a tsb about the headlights though, bcm doesn't supply proper voltage. Reflash fixes it...

I have been very pleased with my LED low and high beams. I have been using them for almost 2 years now. Excellent quality as I have not had any issues with them at all.
What brand?

I got a set from ATP for my 08 last fall because my hids turned into lightsabers and cut the back of two of my housing in half. I switched to LEDS and tbh they don't have the same range butttttttt I got tired of replacing marimoto ballasts and bulbs every 6 months and I've had these LEDs for a year problem free and couldn't be happier, no waiting for the gas to heat up when you switch to your high beams and the hardest part about installation is removing all you hid ballasts

Anyone running leds in projectors? I'm tempted to try a set just to see how they compare to 75w HIDs

75w hids is insane lol. I'm running 35w. Leds in a projector would be fine. The only bad things I've read about leds is that they don't have the range or light pattern that a halogen or hid have. That's only in halogen housings. The projector is what throws your light out on the newer ones. I wouldn't hesitate to run a led on the new projectors

I've had these LED Headlight Bulbsin our 08 Tahoe after the factory one burnt out; low beam. I've been very happy with them. They put out more light than factory and they even put out more light than my high beams. I feel the amount of light and distance is better than the factory ones.
I also have their LED back up lights and have been very happy with them; Tahoe & dually.

I had HID's in my 03 dually a few years ago and I feel these are alot better.
