I wanted to take a minute and say thanks and give credit where due. Im not sure if this is the right section to post it to but I recently took another step towards my truck goal with a danville 68mm stg2r and first i want to thank everyone on this forum for all the solid advice and help throughout my endeavors. Anyhow, Dan@PPE got me a great deal on my manifolds and up-pipes to go with my turbo and threw in a t shirt too and some other things. Thought that was awesome considering I've spent just as much with other company's and i would have had to buy a t shirt if i wanted one. Its not the material part of it but the thought some put into their customers that matters. Also id like to thank levi for working with me and just being a great guy to deal with for the heat blankets for everything. Great customer service! And as always Tony with ridge runner diesel for getting me re-tunes and always helping me out with my tuning. Again awesome customer service. There are many other's too that have helped me, not with this most recent work, but with my trans in the past and when i did my head gaskets and studs. Many great people out there in the duramax community. Just want to share my appreciation! Thanks guys! Also happy veterans day and thanks to all who have served!

Another satisfied member!!!
I love this place!

That's awesome, for you....:( I'm mad at Mark right now...I bought the stg2 3794 and I think he LOL'd and put the 2r68 out when my turbo shipped...its a cunning marketing that tactic I'm sure he modeled from Apple and the iphone....

Now just try not to support Toyo, BFG, Nitto and the likes, too much :joker:

The DP 3794 Is a great turbo!
I had the VGT72 before this and windowed a piston with it, so I stepped down. I really, really liked and miss the 72 tho...and if the 2r68 were available, I know I would've chosen it...Heck, I want it now  But really a built engine, 12mm cp3, 100 overs and the VGT72 is ideally what I want...

This hobby isnt light on the wallet that's for sure. It's incredible how fast and how easily money can be dropped into one of these. I added up all my receipts i had and i have a little over 20k in just parts ( ive done all my own work besides alignments) and my truck really is nothing even special. I couldn't imagine the price tag on some of the rigs here. Granted a lot of my expenses were non performance parts but me being super picky about things
