I guess it is time for a formal introduction. My name is Sharod - living in Queen Creek, Az. I love working on trucks and just about anything that can break. I have spent hours and hours on this forum learning from all of you and greatly appreciate it. My wife thinks I have left her and my bank account is at the mercy of what I think my truck needs next. Some days I wish I would have never found this site.

Anyway I guess I should share a little bit about my truck.

I own an 07 Red GMC LBZ CCSB. I bought the last red one in AZ just because I was scared of the new LMM emissions. It will turn 3 in May and I just hit 24k. Over half its life has been spent hooked to a boat. I got a four wheel drive because I hoped someday it might be fast enough to take to the track and there is nothing worse than a slick boat ramp. Clearance wasn't my concern so I had it dropped 3/5 and shoed it with some 22" KMC Badlands and some 304/40 22 Toyo Proxies.
My first mods were a reflector dented hood and front bumper and dented oil pan (2 am in Colorado on the way to get a boat, FWIW don't let your little brother drive)
Then I moved on to under hood mods - an AFE stage II intake and a 4" straight through exhaust. I installed a set of tie-rod sleeves before the drop from PPE. This last Christmas (thanks to all of you) I sold my Superchip and bought EFI Live from McRat. Then it was all down hill from there. I blocked my EGR, Re-routed my PCV valves, 2 boost gauges, EGT, fuel pressure gauge, and air pressure gauge for the on-board air system that I installed. Then I bought a DSP 5 switch and installed a Transgo Jr. Kit. Next I am going for a fuel pump and aftermarket fuel filter. I installed a drive pressure gauge to motivate me to get twins some day.
My current projects are traction bars and reinforcements for my steering linkage.
Anything legit that has been done to my truck has been with help from the fine people on this site. Am I kissing ass? You bet.

Thanks for all the compliments. I just like to see a truck that is different from the herd. I have only seen a handful of lowered duramax trucks. If you see my truck you know its me.
Twins are in the plans but I had to put things on hold hoping to get me a house with a little chunk of land. I better have Mike L build my trans before that as well. Big dreams and small wallet.
