thanks for this site 1st of all, how much do ppl spend to fill up these types of trucks, would u guys use these trucks as daily drivers? my gf is concern the truck we might buy will be eating up too much $$$ in gas.......
how many miles should we be changing the oil n the fuel filter?
btw this is an 04.5 lly dmax

first off I wouldn't recommend putting gas in it:rofl: that can be very expensive and will not run for very long. I drive mine daily for work, the few mods listed I average 19.2 miles/per. That is city and highway 50/50 split. Diesel here in Houston is averaging around $2.80 a gallon about $55-60 per fill up. Oil change every 7500, fuel filter every 10-15k miles.

I used to daily drive mine but not anymore, but like 50 bucks a week in fuel was the norm. oil change at 3000 miles. both fuel filters at 10k

My truck is my Daily Driver. I have no other vehicles(yet). I run a 450rwhp tune for DD and I get 14 city/18 hwy average. Oil gets changed every 3k; fuel filter is every other oil change and the trans spin on is every 10k. I have 109k on the clock and I've had to replace 2 wheel bearings and 1 injector.

My truck is my daily driver. I put about 50 bucks a week in it. Change my oil every 5000 miles and fuel filter every other oil change. I am trying to get away from it being my daily driver to not rack up the miles

I daily drive my truck when Im on land. Fuels been around $3 a gal so around $75-85 a fill up, I usually get 17mpg for around town/highway with a 450hp tune. I change the oil, tranny spin-on & fuel filter every 10K.

my fuel gauge stop working about 2 years ago on my i put about 15 gal it a week at like 45 40 bucks then drive 350 miles fuel it up again the next week im not to sure what im getting got mileage

My truck is my daily driver and for a full size truck its hard to beat the mileage it gets. You don't need to change the oil under 10K and the fuel and trans filter should be done every 12K-15K IMO.

I don't run Amsoil, and I get my oil for cheap. I'll change it at 2500-3000 miles.

I have no problem with you throwing away good oil.

FYI I ran plain old delo400 a dino for 16K and it was still good so I have no use for Amsoil.
