A/C unit doesnt turn off

I just came home to find my A/C-Heater unit on. the funny thing is that the keys wernt in the truck. I tried pulling the fuse but it doesnt turn it off. Has anyone had this problem? and if so how do i turn it off?

Actually, it's a solid state data bus controlled module. I ask this, because it happened to me....There is a fuse for it in the under hood block, pull it and it will go off. The part controls the fan speed via data bus. It has constant power, so when it fails, it can fail on constant. I have a spare, I'll get the part # for you....

89018778 old p/n is 52495874, I'm guessing they upgraded it....

$65 at GMpartsdirect

To replace:

Remove the cover from the HVAC box under the dash. locate the fan, it will have two wires going into it Black and Purple. Unplug the fan. Follow the wires to the control module. It will have a three wire plug, Black, Orange, and Purple. Unplug it. Remove the two screws and pull the module out. Reverse steps and you're in business.
