LLY: a/c question

Recently my ac has been cutting out when i sent the fan speed on 5. I select 5 it runs for 5-30 seconds then the fan motor shuts off. If i select 4 it runs fine with no issues. Just want to make sure that it is the controller and not the fan motor. Also can the digital ac controller interchanges with the manual one?

Don't forget the pigtail. Most likely your problem is the pigtail is melted, and losing contact once the pins heat up. Should be covered under the recall.

After some research, i saw what could be the problem and i got to say wtf. I typed my vin in at chevy and no recall but if it is burt like i saw i will post pics because it is a problem i didn't know about. Also i want to say thank for the reply or i wouldn't have know.
