So my a/c quit blowing cold. I popped the hood to check the clutch and it was not ingaged. I pulled the relay out and replaced with a new one. Checked all the sensors, all good. Pulled the dash panel out and replaced with one from our work truck that i know works and still nothing. Jumped the two ports where the relay goes and walla clutch engaged. tell me something that makes sense!

when you say control panel are you talking about the climate control in the dash with hot/cold? Thats what i replaced and still nothing. someone told me that there is a electric control behind the dash that could be the problem but i dont know how the wiring goes!

Could be the low pressure cut out switch. Seen that one before also. It is usually on the drier on the firewall. Pretty easy to change as they typically have a schrader valve to prevent discharge when changing, but be careful when removing just incase.

just some food for thought, I would have them replace the fitting on the high, an low sides, an the expansion valve, the parts are like 12 bucks an while u have the system recovered might as well do it, mine gets so cold u could hang meat in it. LOL

well now that i think about it, that switch on the accumulator your talking about. I removed the plug on it and jumped the wires and still nothing. the only other one i can think of would be the sensor on the line right above the compressor! one switch was $19.99 i need to find out where i can get all of this for $12.
