94 K1500 Z71 Only has 1st & reverse

Hey I have buddy lookin to unlaod a 94 silverado really cheap due to trany issues. I woul assume it has a 4L60 in it??? And I have a turbo 350 out of a 2 wheel drive sittin around can I make it work?? I think the tail housing is different on the TH350 2 wheel drive than the 4l60 4 wheel drive.

I don't care about OD seeing as the truck will be for runnin down dirt roads and hauling tools and junk to the shop. I am just wanting to make sure this will work for awhile tell I can get the 4L60 rebuilt.

You will need an output shaft to match.

Just find a salvage yard 4L60 To throw in, less headache bud.

Chances are you could build it for about what the parts would cost to swap in another trans. I built one a year back and spent about $1100 for the top of the line stuff with a SUNCOAST converter. A stock build could be done for about $400-500 and they aren't that hard to build up.
