Sorry mods if this is the wrong place but didn't see a spot for it?? My truck is blowing 40amp fuses and can't figure it out. Ign A keeps blowing and dash say s service 4x4 and code uc101 and I think something is grounded but still can't find and exposed wires. Worked perfect this whole morning and bam this happens??? Any thought?

I don't have the LBZ wiring diagrams, but if it is similar to the LLY, then this might help. (The PDF is for a 2005 LLY...)

The following fuses are all after the IGN A fuse, so try pulling them out one at a time and seeing if it stops blowing the IGN A. That might help narrow it down to a specific system.
IGN 0 (10A)
TBC (10A)
BRAKE (10A)
4WD (15A)
CRUISE (10A)
HTR/AC (30A)
HVAC 1 (10A)
IGN 3 (10A)
CRANK (10A)

If none of those fix it, it appears the starter relay is directly connected to the IGN A fuse, and that might be rubbing somewhere.

Since you are getting a 4x4 message, I'd start looking in that area. Good luck, and hopefully you don't have to buy too many of those stupid square fuses, they add up quick!

I got the truck started and found what I thought fixed it by the inside fuse box. Moved some wires around. Went to next job site and bam again!!!! Have one more fuse and bought napa out already. Thx for the replies and will check by the parking break. But does appear to be a wire grounding out somewhere..

Mine did that. Turned out to be a wire rubbing on the parking brake in the cab.

And you are the winner!!!! I set my parking brake 5 plus times a day and rubbed through the loom and electrical tape. I thought I had moved it away but guess not! $193.50 to move out of the way. And $40 dollars in
fuses!!! I hate tring to find electrical problems.

Sorry to hear about it Tark...but it could have been a lot worse.

Now get out to the track and go fast. That'll make you feel better.

Well I tow a trailor everyday so I use my pbrake. Heads up guys that have fished wires through the fire wall on the drivers side. Pull the factory harness away from the pbrake or it will cut through the loom and tape and you wil be sitting in a parking lot like me scratching your head and not making any money!!!
