predator on 100,boost stick,no kitty,stock intake with k&n,egr blocked, stage 3 suncoast with a 1056

what would my mph be in the 1/4 if i was going 74.3 in the 1/8? im gonna guess about 95?

anything over 1200 rpm and i was digging up the track. i went to 1300 one time and made some nice ripples in the rubber at the starting line. looked like a wash board. lucky all the cars there were launching about 5 feet in front of my marks LOL . i got the 2.42 with it right at 1150 rpm and could not floor it for a good 40-50 feet or i was making 2 kinds of smoke instead of one.

also it was 98 degrees with a 2000 DA and 120's track temp

Not really sure, Is your truck a 2wd only? Some of the calculators aren't very accurate for converting 1/8 to 1/4.

Based on your 1/8 times and MPH, I would guess in the 1/4 you should be low 15s mid-high 80s for trap speed.

I would lower the torsion bars and drop er in 4x4 and probably leave it in 4th if you have stock gears

either way you did good!

Here's truck that's pretty close to your times. I could see your MPH being even a little higher than his since you're faster in the 1/8. Even though he's quicker in the 1/8, you might be quicker in the 1/4 with your higher trap speed, but it should be pretty close.

60' 2.446
1/8 9.813
MPH 73.80
1/4 15.207
MPH 90.21

Bring it on down to Kinston or Jacksonville and race with me Winston and Chris sometime. Do you have traction bars or spring clamps? We'll help you get er setup for the track. In 4WD you would probably cut a 1.9-2.0ish 60'

no traction bars . i dont think spring clamps would work on my 12" springs...i think 2.2's in 4x4 at best. i'll get down there one night. takes me over 2 hours to get there.

If you want traction bars made let me know, we are pricing the tubing right now to see how cheap we can make them - we're out of all we had on hand. You are launching that well in 2wd that you think you only have that much room for improvement? Guess I am used to my LLY launching on either 305-50-20s or 285-75-15s, in 4WD with the E-locker locked, but I still added some time to it for you since you are on a much heavier combo and only have the predator. If you make it down I also do affordable EFI Live tuning. 3 of us drove up to Morgan's Corner (over 3 hours) this Saturday, but it was so worth it - one of our customers that came with us won the event on an LBZ with a SC IV we built and a Flo Pro 5" exhaust. I wrote his tune on the way up there in the back seat and it was my first LBZ tune ever. Pulled off his Edge, loaded the tune and he yanked out a full pull, then won the pull off - on his first time ever pulling. I can't wait to see what I can get out of it on the track.

to make a long story short. yeah. with 165 lb 38's and wheels its a different ball game than little tires.also the truck weighs about 8150 totally empty with half tank and a bed mat. i tell you what, next time i rotate my tires you can come help. heck i'll even bring it to your house LOL! then you will understand.

smoked a Hemi durango twice and a 2V mustang GT by a truck length :D

those were my times. 110 quad tune. 2wd (all i got). from the 1/8 on, it doesn't pull very hard. trans is slippin pretty bad 4th and 5th. very traction limited launch.

since you're runnin a sc3, you should be able to stay hammer down. like josh said, i think you'll have a faster mph through the 1/4 than my truck. 4wd launch, if you got the hard parts to support it, might help drop that 60 down a bit.....

all in all, not a bad pass considered how big that damn thing is... :D

Pretty good man! Thats a lot of weight to get movin!

My best so far: (truck is 2wd)

15.36......BUT!

Lightly spooled launch, spun instantly and pedaled it to rehook, and it ran real hard till just past the 1/8th and the tranny limped and coasted to the 1/4
Tranny is loose so pre-1/8th numbers would be better too, not to shabby for a half track blast huh?:D

I have made lottsa changes since then, I had factory exhaust w/ Aero Turbine muffler, Had Bully Dog PMT (140hp tune) -no EFI, stock injectors, ONLY water in m/w injection system, CP3 was stock, stock boost.

I understand heavy tires - my 20s with the 305/50 tires kill my 1/4 cause they are so much heavier than PYOs with 285/75s. I also have a Bronco II with 39.5x16s on 16x10 rims and have a fullsize spare mounted on the back - the center cap is neck high and I've mounted it up there myself once and I'll never do it again, I thought I was gonna herniate myself and my back hurt for a week afterwards.
