LB7: # 8 injector

Hey fellas,Installed a set of 40% over lb7 injectors and right out of the gate I got a +5.5 on #8,I did the injector cleaning procedure with little help.The # 8 injector is progressively getting worse and is now +8 - +12 so I pulled it last night and the nozzle looks heavily carboned,If I had a return leak at the head and being #8 is the first on the return line would it cause my prob?It seems 2 others on that bank are showing -3 to -4 as well.This is my first time playing with injector problems so any input is greatly appreciated.The truck seems to run fine with no misses or haze and it shits and gits with no probs.

I did,I didn't put the 40's in but opted for a set of 80's instead,i swapped out #8 and brought all 8 into spec.Im talkin +-1,couldnt believe it.40's are up for sale.

I am also wondering about tuning options,I have heard great things about many tuners out there but have never had any kind of tuning done especially not for oversized stix,built trans ect ect.does anybody have any input good or bad about this subject? ?

SO 1 injector caused a few to be outta whack?

I am selling good 40% nozzles,Yes I changed 1 body and yes 1 injector caused the 7 others to read bad,i couldn't believe 1 bad injector could change the rest that badly,I bought a set of 40's and 80's because I wanted options and didn't know what direction I wanted or needed to go.

In my first post I said I had an issue with a 40% over injector but had actually
installed the 80's I had instead(Sorry,my bad.tired and wired from being up all night swapping #8 out before I wrote that)

No the 40% nozzles never went in,only the 80%'s.I wont be using these so id like to help someone get them that needs them,If I thought they were bad in any way they would not be for sale on here.sorry for the mis print!

so I got mine going but somehow I forgot to tighten up a boost tube clamp. it blew first time I spooled it but now I have a bad valve? was smooth and quiet prior to that. any ideas?

I swaped out #8 and #5 and have almost perfect rates with the new 80 overs on,takes very little peddle to get this pig moving but my mileage has gone for a serious shit.what a pita changing 1 injector on each bank. also running stock tune until I can figure a tuner out.Without this forum and everyone on it none of my mods would have been possible so Thanks.:thumb:
