I'm wondering if anyone is running the 72? Would it work with my mods I have now? I want to get some 100% exergy sticks soon. Just looking for some reviews mostly. Lag and what not thanks
I made 753hp on my Danville 72mm VGT with 45% over Exergys and a 10mm CP3. Stock bottom LLY. I like the 72, and if you have the fuel to back it up you'll be good. As far as street driving, its a little more lazy than the 68 but top end is night & day. If your going to be upgrading to 100% overs my vote is Marks 72.
Working on a lbz truck with 100%s and a 10mm pump.. It's wicked! Just has a base tune in it and it's a hand full. Truck drives amazing and power is crazy. I had a stock fuel 68mm and a 45% 475 over stock on my lbz and this 72 blows them both out of the water.
It's a smidge lazy, but with big injectors it's not as noticeable really.
From what I've read on the 3794 it's awesome for stock motor stuff and will be great to build off of in a compound set up..
This 72 really makes me want one on my zf-6 truck. It sounds so clean and pulls super hard. Either way I don't think your can go wrong with one of marks turbos.
so what would a 3794 with stock injectors do? Has anyone pushed it on a lbz I saw on the lmm it put pretty good power down would it be the same for the lbz? It is pretty cheap really tempting.
The BMW GT3794Va has done a best of 736hp 1298ftlbs on a stock lly with 100%inj and dual fuelers. Stock injectors, I've seen 652hp 1200ftlbs out of it. The 72mm has seen a max of 890hp with a built motor 100%inj 12mm cp3 and I ran a 10.96 with it. The average with the 72mm in 700-800hp depending on setup but you have to have fuel to drive it properly. Stock injectors you will see 600-650hp range because the fueling is the power limiter.
