So I think I'm going for a pull on the dyno at a show sat. I'm not sure what type of dyno it is or who is bringing It to the event. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to prepare for it?

I'm going to run it with the 150 hot street tune, since that's the only tune I've ran at the strip. I don't think the converter will hold the max effort tune.

It wont downshift if your under 2grand, unless you changed that... The dyno operator should know what to do with it anyways.... some run them in 4th and some 5th..

Sweet, thanks for the info guys. I'm getting excited about this. I think this tune should be good for about 480 to the wheels with the stock turbo and no fueling changes have been made. So I guess we'll see how much this charger let's it breath. Can't wait. Maybe Ill click it to the max effort tune for the hell of it. :D

Hook your laptop to the truck open your efi live scan tool go to the dvt setting (f12) click the connect to vehicle and select the Allison tcm setting for your truck then hit ok , next hit the big activate box then select the gear tab then select hold 4th gear run the truck through the gears and when it hits 4 th click the activate transmission controll box now your locked in 4th easier than it sounds good luck

when you're on the dyno, get it into 4th, lock it, and hold mph around 45. once you give the dyno operator the sign he'll throw the load on it and you just need to slowly roll into the pedal till you are able to put it to the floor. i took my truck to a little over 4000 rpms on my pulls. then ease out of the throttle

you can use the manual mode. if you stomp on it when you have it in a certain gear will it downshift? if so then you just have to ease into the throttle till you can floor it without it downshifting. the manual will at least keep it from shifting into 5th
