Looking for some help on a transmission or programming problem. Let me state for the record that i am not a tuner nor am i trying to be. I am trying to find someone sharper than me to find the problem. I have a Wagler built 6.6 and a Suncoast Gmax transmission and converter. First trip with the vehicle (this is an offroad vehicle) everything was fine for the first 20 miles. At the 20 mile mark it felt like the truck went in to neutral and wouldn't grab a gear. I didn't have a scanner to check for codes at the time so i could do was check fluid level, condition, and all the wiring. All of which checked out good. After about 30 minutes of sitting i was able to fire the tuck back up and it shifted fine for the next 30 miles. In the next 30 miles we noticed that the outbound temps to the cooler were getting pretty high (350F) but inbound was was around (175). We backed out of it a little and the temps dropped. Shortly there after I think it went into limp mode only giving 2nd gear. Pulled over to check it out again and the truck would move in any gear. Towed the truck home. Checked the truck out a week later and it still had the same problem(wouldn't move in any gear). Pulled codes and had code P0847 and P0880. Checked all wiring and voltage came back good. Reset the codes and truck shifts fine now. Ran the truck for a little bit while logging on EFI and it looks like the torque converter is never locking up and the TSTATE7 shows SPLIMP Engine in Default Mode Shift Pattern. Any ideas? I can email the log if anyone wants to view it.
